And I Thought I Loved You Then...

A lot of you all know the history behind Grant and me...but for those of you that don't let me fill you in!! Our parents have known each other even before we were born. I'm not quite sure at what age Grant's family moved around the corner...but ever since i can remember, I remember him living close. I was IN LOVE with him! I remember writing in my journal after my baptism that I was going to marry him...I never actually thought that was going to happen!! His family moved to Upland and mine stayed in Alta Loma, but I still was in love even in my teenage years! I would really only see him at church dances, and let me tell you that was the highlight of my week! haha My family then decided to move to Idaho!! It got close to moving time and I was sad to move away from my friends and I knew I would probably never see the "Love of my Life" (even though I'm pretty sure i was the only one feeling that way, even though he says now he did but I think its a lie!!) ever again. After being in Idaho for a about a year and a half I came back down to California for a good friends mission farewell...when I came to visit grant wanted to take me out!! oh my gosh i remember telling my girlfriends in Idaho and freaking out!! On the night when we were going out he picked me up and I was in total shock haha, also he thought he was so cool!! He took me to Huntington Beach and we hung out and just talked! Little did he know...that was my first date!! i went back to Idaho even more in love than when I was 5...but not to talk to him for about 4 years:( We found each other on Facebook and just chatted everyone and awhile...I was in hair school and he was doing his firefighter stuff. The memories were all ways good ones but I knew that they were just memories. We didn't talk for a few more years...then I randomly saw some pics of him on Facebook and I just sent a casual e-mail to him saying i hope all is well etc. He e mailed right back and we talked all day everyday since then..texts turned into 5 hour long phone conversations then to hours of Skype. That was 1 1/2 years ago!! I never in a million years would have thought that writing "Mallory Grafius" all over my school binders and on random papers would become a reality, but I am sure glad it did!! These are a few pictures from my first trip to California!!
